Who We Are:
Alden Bridge Presbyterian Preschool is a not-for-profit preschool in which children of diverse talents and backgrounds are offered a high quality education in a secure, nurturing and academically challenging environment. At Alden Bridge Presbyterian Preschool children learn and grow intellectually, physically, socially, emotionally and artistically. Our students develop self-confidence and a lifelong love of learning through an active partnership among educators, parents and students. At Alden Bridge Presbyterian Preschool, our core values center on providing a Christian educational experience that ensures our students are pre- pared for success as they move forward in life.
In 1998, a dream was born: to create a preschool with a unique child-centered philos- ophy, where children develop fully as children, not as adults in training. That year, Alden Bridge Presbyterian Church founded Alden Bridge Presbyterian Preschool, marking the be- ginning of an extraordinary educational preschool. That first year, a small group of young children began a journey of discovery, learning, and growth. Alden Bridge Presbyterian Pre- school evolved with them, adding a class each year to establish a complete early childhood learning program. As they grew, the memories of their exceptional learning experience at Alden Bridge Presbyterian Preschool stayed with them, and gave them the confidence that they were fully prepared – academically and emotionally – to embark on their year to come in Kindergarten.
Over the years, we have proven that children thrive in a holistic learning environment, where they are challenged and nurtured to develop intellectually, physically, emotionally, and socially. When children feel free to explore, discover, create, interact, and play, they learn at wondrous speed. See for yourself how the dream that began in 1998 has become one of the most respected preschools in The Woodlands.
Since 1998, Alden Bridge Presbyterian Preschool has provided quality early childhood education in The Woodlands with its exceptional programming, faculty, and staff. Through unique programs like Zoo Phonics and our curriculum development, we work to provide the very best in early childhood education in The Woodlands. Last year’s fundraising events were a tremendous success, due to generous contributions and in-kind donations from families, businesses, and community leaders in our area. Proceeds from our 1st annual Gala directly benefit Alden Bridge Presbyterian Preschool’s academic, movement and arts programs. Be- yond supporting general operations, the Gala allows us to explore new opportunities for our students.
We hope you will consider participating in our Corporate Sponsorship Program. The sponsorship remains in place for a full year and is featured at events, online, and in print throughout the school year.
